Henry Cavill fans can now catch a glimpse of the British actor in a James Bond role, albeit in a rather unconventional manner.

A fake Bond movie trailer, featuring the former Witcher star, has been garnering millions of views on YouTube, despite its entirely fabricated nature.
The "Bond 26" trailer introduces Cavill as the new Bond, utilizing a blend of footage from other films and artificial intelligence. The trailer also ambitiously casts Margot Robbie as a Bond girl.
Thus far, the aspiring trailer has amassed 2.3 million viewers, likely driven by a combination of fans appreciating it as a "what-if" endeavor, as well as some being genuinely misled by its content.
"Please note that this video is a concept trailer created solely for artistic and entertainment purposes," creator KHStudio notes. "I have meticulously incorporated various effects, sound design, AI technologies, movie analytics, and other elements to bring my vision to life. Its purpose is purely artistic, aiming to entertain and engage with the YouTube community. My goal is to showcase my creativity and storytelling skills through this trailer. Thank you for your support, and let's dive into the world of imagination."
However, if the trailer were genuinely for the next Bond movie, it might be seen as somewhat underwhelming, as it lacks the typical spectacle associated with the franchise. Additionally, it's worth noting that Cavill's Bond is depicted with an American accent, which could be perceived as unusual.
For years, fans of Cavill have hoped to see the actor take on the iconic super-spy role following Daniel Craig's tenure. Recently, rumors (though unconfirmed) have suggested that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the latest top choice for the role. Cavill is currently promoting his Guy Ritchie World War II action film, "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare," which premieres this weekend. Once again, he has been asked if there are any updates regarding his potential casting as Bond.
"I have no idea," Cavill told The Rich Eisen Show. "All I've got to go off is the rumors. The same information you have. Maybe I'm too old now, maybe I'm not. It's up to [producers] Barbara Broccoli and Mike Wilson, and we'll see what their plans are."
If Cavill is indeed "too old" now, it would be a rather ironic twist, considering he was reportedly deemed too young when he previously auditioned for the role back when producers were casting 2006's Casino Royale. Since then, Cavill has portrayed several super-spy characters that suggest he would be well-suited for the role, including roles in Mission: Impossible - Fallout, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and Argylle.
Cavill's latest film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, sees him once again portraying a capable British government asset. The film has received positive reviews, currently standing at 79 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
