HBO has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of House of the Dragon. The highly anticipated season is set to premiere on June 19, featuring eight episodes.

Continuing its exploration of the House Targaryen civil war, the new season is based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood. Fans can expect more epic battles, political intrigue, and the complex characters that have become synonymous with the Game of Thrones universe.
The unveiling of House of the Dragon's second season trailer coincides with Amazon's release of the first trailer for the second season of its fantasy drama, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Returning for the new season are cast members Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.
Joining the cast for the new season are several new faces, including Gwayne Hightower, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
