The new music is Part 2 of her highly acclaimed 2022 Renaissance album, which has been rumored to be part of a trilogy for some time. In conjunction with the announcement, two songs were released on Tidal: "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages."
In the Verizon ad, Beyoncé is
depicted at a lemonade stand, referencing her 2016 album of the same name. The
ad features playful variations of her name, such as "Barbey," a play on Barbie, and "BOTUS," suggesting she could be the first female president.
Videos shared on Beyoncé's website and Instagram contained the tease "Act II" alongside the date March 29.

The video showcases a country
ambiance, opening with a car driving off down a dirt road displaying a license
plate reading "HOLD'EM."
Various songs, including a yodeling tune and Chuck Berry's "Maybelline," play as if someone is
tuning into different country music stations on the radio.
Transitioning to a country-infused track by Beyoncé, she sings, "Say Texas, ain’t no hold ’em, lay your cards down down down down." Additionally, the video features a billboard depicting Beyoncé waving, with several men admiring it.
As a native of Houston, Texas,
Beyoncé has strong ties to the state. She and her family, including husband
Jay-Z, attended the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday to watch the Kansas City
Chiefs compete against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fans have long speculated that this
new album is part of a trilogy, with many convinced that it would take on a
country music style.
